Here is a Busselton heat pump install we completed last week.
The customers existing solar system needed to be replaced, however it worked out to be $1000 cheaper to re-run the pipes to a new location for the heat pump. Doing this actually allowed the system to run smoother, a better solution for the southwest climate.
We disconnected the solar hot water unit that was located on the roof, leaving the customer very happy with the final installation. They were amazed that this turned out to be a cheaper and more efficient option.
A heat pump system converts environmental energy into heat for your home. First, the heat in the ground or outdoor air is transferred to a refrigerant via a heat exchanger (evaporator). With help from a compressor, the refrigerant boosts this energy to a higher temperature level, making it suitable, via another heat exchanger (condenser), for heating your home or your domestic hot water system.
The energy we use, taken from the air, water and earth, will always be available to us, giving us a limitless energy supply. We have a range of high efficiency heat pumps to heat your home and your water and provide cooling that’s suitable for all homes and buildings.
